Club Regulation for Parents / Carers
1) Be your child’s best fan and support him/her unconditionally.
2) Must never coach from the touchline during matches or training. Leave this to the manager/coach to avoid confusion and knocking your child’s confidence.
3) Always get your child to training and matches at the time allocated by the coach especially when travelling to away games, remembering to always notify a coach well in advance if your child is unavailable for a game or training!
4) Should develop a responsibility within your child to pack their own kit, clean boots and take a drinks bottle (water only) to practice and games.
5) Should not criticise your child’s coach to your child or other parents. If you are not happy with the coach you should raise the issue with them.
6) Always focus on the performance and not the result. Remember, winning is never as important as the development of the child…….Never!!
7) Should support all the players in your child’s squad. Do not criticise anyone!!!
8) Must never criticise the opponents, their parents or their officials.
9) Should never audibly dispute a referee’s decision or enter the pitch area. They will make mistakes occasionally as they’re human. If you abuse or shout at the referee you are breaking the rules of the game & tarnishing the club.
10) Make sure to pay yearly subscriptions upfront in cash or be signed up to our monthly payment scheme at the start of each season.
Please remember – the game is for the children! It is not for
the glory of the coach, manager or parents! Thank you!
